These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, www.comicicon.com (the “Site”), our online store powered by WooCommerce, and any in-person transactions conducted at conventions, events, or other physical locations.
By accessing the Site, placing an order online, or making an in-person purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Availability of products may vary between the online store and in-person events. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time.
3. Orders and Payments (Online)
All online orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
- Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is processed securely through third-party payment processors integrated with WooCommerce.
- We do not store full payment card details.
- Taxes, shipping, and handling fees will be calculated at checkout.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason, including errors in pricing or product descriptions.
4. In-Person Purchases (Conventions and Events)
Purchases made at conventions, trade shows, pop-up events, or other in-person locations are considered final at the point of sale, except where required by law.
a. Receipts and Records
- Receipts may be provided electronically or in print.
- Customers may be asked to provide an email address for receipt delivery or post-sale support.
b. Condition of Goods
- Customers are responsible for inspecting items at the time of purchase.
- Any defects or issues must be reported before leaving the point of sale when possible.
c. Limited Editions and Original Art
- Original artwork and limited-edition items are sold “as-is” unless otherwise stated.
- Due to the unique nature of these items, all sales are final.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Online orders will be shipped to the address provided at checkout.
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
- Comic Icon is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control.
- Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier, unless otherwise required by law.
6. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
a. Online Purchases
Returns or exchanges for online purchases may be accepted at our discretion and must:
- Be requested within a reasonable timeframe after delivery
- Be in original, unused condition unless defective
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by law.
b. In-Person Purchases
All in-person purchases are final, including:
- Convention sales
- Event sales
- Original artwork
- Limited editions
No refunds or exchanges will be provided for in-person purchases unless required by applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, artwork, photographs, designs, and trademarks, is the property of Comic Icon or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
No Reproduction of Artwork:
Artwork purchased from Comic Icon, including original art, prints, limited editions, and commissioned pieces, may not be reproduced, copied, scanned, distributed, displayed publicly, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Comic Icon and/or the original artist, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of sale.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any Site content without prior written permission.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Interfere with Site functionality or security
- Harass, threaten, or abuse staff, creators, or other customers
We reserve the right to terminate access for violations of these Terms.
9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have a question or concern regarding a charge, you agree to contact Comic Icon directly at help@comicicon.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Unauthorized, excessive, or unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- Submission of transaction documentation to the payment processor
- Suspension or termination of customer accounts
- Refusal of future sales or services
For in-person purchases, chargebacks are strongly discouraged as all sales are final and verifiable at the point of sale.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Comic Icon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Site, products, or services, including convention or event-related transactions.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Comic Icon, its owners, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site, purchases, or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Event Changes, Cancellations, and Force Majeure
Comic Icon shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or failures to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, power outages, labor disputes, government orders, venue closures, or convention cancellations.
In the event a convention, appearance, or event is canceled, postponed, or materially altered, Comic Icon is not responsible for travel expenses, lodging, or other costs incurred by customers.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Site with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
